Today, October 7, 2025, MADAM Sierra Leone, under the Classroom to Commerce project funded by the European Union, held a stakeholder engagement meeting in Bo to discuss the Entrepreneurship Support Service Scheme component of the project and how Project participants will benefit.

The engagement brought together representatives from two local councils, the Ministry of Youth Affairs, the National Youth Commission, private sector actors, and TVET institutions.

In his opening statement, the Project Manager, Abass Sheku John Tryee, highlighted the success of the MADAM Entrepreneurship Support Service Scheme, noting how it has been empowering young people and women in Bombali District, where it was initially piloted. He further mentioned that the support package will include a series of financial management training for project participants.

During the engagement, stakeholders expressed their commitment to collaborating with MADAM to ensure the scheme's sustainability and expansion across the south and eastern part of Sierra Leone.
