On May 23rd, 2025, the Classroom to Commerce project provided job readiness training for 300 graduates from Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions in Kenema. The training aims to equip participants with the essential skills needed to navigate the workforce with confidence and competence.

The training covered several key areas, including CV writing, interview preparation, and professional networking, enhancing participants' job seeking abilities.

Additional modules on communication, teamwork, and problem-solving were designed to prepare graduates for success in diverse work environments.

This project is implemented by a consortium across three districts, with MADAM serving as the lead partner in Bo, RODA in Bombali, and Humanist Watch in Kenema.

The project is funded by the European Union.
